Rural Delivery Series 8, feature story from episode 27, 'NZ Wood Laminates'

The following video is about the NMIT Arts and Media buildings in Nelson. Designed by Irving Smith Jack Architects with engineering by Aurecon, managed by Arrow International. Hunterbond (Hunter Laminates Nelson) were involved from an early stage with ISJ and Aurecon in assisting with advice on what can be achieved and different cost options, in particular working on the level of finish required. Nelson Pine LVL 11 was used on this project.

Arcades Project highlights Grandeur of Glulam

Another Canterbury Rebuild sponsorship that has seen the timber industry step up to the plate is the Arcades Project – the outcome of collaboration between Gap Filler masterminds Dr Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Just with the Festival of Transitional Architecture (FESTA) protagonist and architectural historian Dr Jessica Halliday.
